Leonardo DR mini II is the latest generation in OR Technology’s mobile X-ray product line. It is an ultra-lightweight, suitcase-style X-ray system, weighing only 8.9 kg, fully integrating a wireless detector, a 17-inch laptop, and advanced acquisition and diagnostic software. This system is an ideal solution for small medical stations, emergency medicine, field deployment, home healthcare, humanitarian organizations, military, maritime applications, and any environment requiring maximum flexibility in X-ray imaging.
1. Ultra-compact suitcase design
- Robust suitcase housing with dimensions of approximately 49 × 39.5 × 17 cm (page 3), fitting easily into any vehicle trunk and convenient for transport.
- Completely wireless, battery-powered system, enabling over 4 hours of continuous operation without external power supply.
- Large four-color LED status indicator, visible from a distance (e.g. “Ready for exposure”), with additional acoustic signals.
- Detachable 17-inch laptop, allowing flexible positioning for convenient operation or use as a presentation display.

- Wireless CsI flat panel detector (24 × 30 cm or 35 × 43 cm), delivering high-resolution images even at low radiation doses.
- Extremely fast image availability within 6–8 seconds, ideal for rapid on-site diagnosis.
- AI-supported advanced features, including automatic chest screening, intelligent measurements, and image analysis.
3. Professional dicomPACS® DX-R software
- Modern, touch-enabled, multi-language user interface.
- Full integration with DICOM Worklist, HIS/RIS, BDT/GDT, HL7, image transfer, CD/DVD burning, and more.
- Over 400 standardized examination positions, with multimedia X-ray positioning guidance (videos and reference images).
- Ultra-fast emergency patient registration and seamless switching between examinations without repetitive input.
- Ability to add images to patient records even after an examination session has been completed.
- Remote system control via smartphone or tablet using the DX-R Remote app: view worklists, preview images, and trigger re-exposures directly from a mobile device.
