Nurse Call System - CARECOM is a nurse call and patient care system widely used in Japan. The system is user-friendly, allowing nurses and patients to easily and safely access various functions.

The nurse call system includes two types:

  • Digital Nurse Call System (BCAC)
  • Analog Nurse Call System (BCRC)

Main Functions

  • Call functions connecting nurses, caregivers, and doctors within the hospital
  • Emergency call function
  • Call log statistics and reporting
  • IP connectivity with devices such as smartphones and IP cameras
  • Peripheral device connectivity with medical equipment, such as patient monitors and infusion pumps

The product is designed with patient safety as a priority. The call devices feature an antibacterial plastic housing, high reliability, and ease of use in hospital environments.

BCRC Series – Nurse Call & Patient Care Management System

The BCRC Series Nurse Call & Patient Care Management System provides a direct communication line between nurses and patients, offering a wide range of functions with convenient and easy operation.

Analog Nurse Call Systems - BCRC

* Convenient functions when using the nurse call button:

  • Volume Adjustment Function: Five independent volume levels can be adjusted to suit the condition of each patient.
  • Call Tone Selection: The call alert sound can be selected from 10 different tones and melodies.
  • Different Alert Sounds for Emergency Calls: Normal Call: from the patient’s bedside; Emergency Call: from the toilet or bathroom.
  • Automatic Call Storage Function (Even When the Handset Is Displaced): Calls are automatically stored in standby mode after 10 seconds if the handset is displaced from the unit. However, emergency call signals can still be received at any time.

* Communication between nurses and medical staff:

  • Care Management Function: Helps provide more convenient and efficient patient care.
  • Patient Information Display Function: Patient information is displayed using three color indicators, along with the patient’s room or bed number. The color-coded information enables nurses to respond quickly and appropriately, especially in emergencies.
  • Zone Display Function: Displays the patient room type and zone labels for easier identification.
  • Nurse Group Setting Function: This function allows different ringtones to be assigned to nurse call stations by group. Up to five different groups can be configured.
  • Patient Call Report Function: By connecting the system to a computer, users can specify a time period and room number to generate patient call reports. These reports can then be stored or printed for record management.
Analog Nurse Call Systems - BCRC 1

The BCRC Series Nurse Call System records and reports all patient calls. This allows valuable data to be stored by room number or by time period, and the information can be reviewed on a PC or printed for documentation.

* Report Contents:

The report includes:

  • Frequent calls by channel
  • Frequent calls by time (hourly analysis)
  • Nurse response time and conversation time with patients
  • Data output, allowing review of time, channel number, room number, recovery time, response time, and conversation duration

* Digital display:

When a new patient is added to the BCRC Series, the digital display and two-color corridor indicator lights will be activated and displayed.

* How to Use the Advanced Analog Nurse Call System:

  1. The software can be easily installed on a PC using a CD.
  2. Connect the BCRC system to the PC via a connection box.
  3. Specify the date and room number to monitor the data.
  4. Select the data output method:  Press Print to print the data or Press CSV to save the data as a CSV file.
