Patient Safety
-
Nurses are required to respond flexibly to each patient depending on their individual conditions.
-
Sounds, colors, and icons are activated to help users intuitively understand the call status.
-
Colored indicator lights and sound alerts on the Master Unit (central controller) allow nurses to easily identify information—from the patient’s room number to the call status through both visual and audio signals.
-
Nurses can immediately recognize different situations from various icons displayed on the LCD screen, such as general calls, emergency calls, disconnected cables, or infusion problems. This enables them to respond quickly even when they are busy. Nurses can check the status of patients and rooms at a glance.
-
Information such as the patient’s condition, room status, or type of nursing care required can be color-coded using a four-level care classification system.
-
The operating process can be configured to respond to different situations, enabling effective responses to emergencies such as fires, earthquakes, and other incidents.

* CARECOM Provides Clear Communication and Instant Status Information
The Nurse Call System immediately displays call status through audio alerts, colored indicator lights, and the LCD screen on the Master Unit (central controller). Unique and distinctive icons on the LCD screen allow nurses to quickly recognize the specific situation at a glance.
* User-Friendly Design
The user-friendly devices allow nurses and patients to easily and safely use various functions. The patient-friendly design makes it easy to locate the large CALL buttons, which are attached to an orange cord and feature night illumination, allowing patients to easily find them even in the dark.
The CALL button:
- Is made of non-slip rubber for easy operation
- Is constructed from antibacterial plastic to help prevent infection
The system design also helps maintain a quiet patient room environment. The volume of the call tone and other alerts can be individually adjusted depending on patient conditions, or set to automatically reduce at night.
* Can be called even if patients cannot press the call button for nurses.
Our unique care sensors provide peace of mind for patients with conditions such as muscular dystrophy or ALS, enabling them to call a nurse simply by blowing, speaking, touching, or waving their hand.
* Ensuring safety when patients leave the bed unexpectedly.
If the patient needs to sit up at the bedside or requires assistance with walking, nurses can be instantly alerted that the patient is attempting to leave the bed. This ensures safe patient monitoring, especially during the night when fewer nurses are on duty.

* Analysis of nurse call data for safer nursing care
The BCAC system stores records of patient calls. These records can be retrieved as data and printed when necessary. The data can also be analyzed in various ways or used to generate reports, contributing to safer and more efficient nursing care.
CSV file export for flexible analysis and reporting. Data can be exported in CSV format, allowing it to be used for various types of data analysis and report generation.

* Peace of mind knowing that all nursing staff are always connected:
- The PRESENCE button notifies others that a nurse is present in the patient’s room.
- The STAFF CALL button allows a nurse to request assistance from other staff members.
- The CODE BLUE button sends an emergency alert to summon all staff members in critical situations.
The Nurse Call System helps create a safe and well-coordinated hospital environment.

* Bedside installation for convenient use:
The device is installed next to the patient’s bed, making it easy and convenient to use. Auxiliary notifications from alarms generated by medical equipment (ME), IV devices (infusion equipment), and medical monitors can be viewed not only inside the patient’s room but also from nurse stations or hospital corridors. This support ensures safe patient care throughout the night, even when fewer nurses are on duty.
