On the morning of April 24, 2026, through HDN Investment Joint Stock Company, the signing ceremony for the procurement and installation of advanced diagnostic imaging systems between GE HealthCare - one of the world’s leading healthcare technology companies headquartered in the United States - and Hong Ha General Hospital was successfully held.
Representing Hong Ha General Hospital were members of the hospital’s Board of Management, department heads, deputy heads, and related functional divisions. The ceremony was also attended by leadership representatives and technical experts from GE HealthCare and HDN. This investment marks an important milestone in the hospital’s strategy to enhance high-tech medical infrastructure and improve healthcare quality for the local community.
According to the agreement, the parties will jointly deploy and install state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging systems, including: a premium AI-integrated 512-slice spectral CT scanner and a 1.5 Tesla MRI system from GE Healthcare. The new CT system stands out with ultra-fast scanning capability, ultra-thin slice imaging, and exceptionally high resolution, enabling physicians to detect very small lesions that may be missed by older-generation systems.
Meanwhile, the 1.5 Tesla MRI system integrates advanced artificial intelligence technology to deliver sharp whole-body imaging while improving both speed and diagnostic accuracy across a wide range of clinical specialties, including Neurology, Musculoskeletal imaging, and Cardiovascular diagnostics. Importantly, MRI technology provides detailed imaging without exposing patients to ionizing radiation, helping reduce anxiety and improve patient comfort during examinations.
