On 21 July, HDN Investment Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with Relisys and Cho Ray Hospital, organized the scientific workshop entitled "Advances in Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) Technology." The event marked the first stop of the regional TAVI scientific workshop series in Southern Vietnam, introducing Relisys' latest transcatheter heart valve technologies to healthcare professionals in the region.
As one of Vietnam's highest-level tertiary referral hospitals, Cho Ray Hospital was selected as the inaugural venue for the workshop series. The program was designed to provide updates on current developments in transcatheter treatment for aortic valve disease while facilitating scientific exchange among interventional cardiologists and clinicians.
The scientific agenda featured a presentation delivered by a clinical specialist from Relisys, focusing on recent technological advances in transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), clinical experience, and current trends in structural heart interventions. Following the presentation, participants had the opportunity to review the devices during a hands-on product demonstration and technical discussion.
The workshop was attended by physicians from the Cardiovascular Center of Cho Ray Hospital, one of the leading cardiovascular referral centers in Southern Vietnam. Discussions focused on Relisys' self-expanding valve technologies, including the Vienna Transcatheter Aortic Valve and the TricValve Transcatheter Bicaval Valve System, with participants exchanging perspectives on device design, procedural considerations, and potential clinical applications.
